In Ethiopia rural agriculture is the greatest contributor of national GDP. Nonetheless its current level of development remained slower both in hosting a large mass of employment on the one hand and in satisfying the daily bread of the targets leave alone the need of the urban dwellers. This is one of the critical national temptations that need mass cooperation to our country. This made it one of the critical pillars that need different approaches and might have urged to consider multiple sustainable development goals. Livelihood in the rural context includes natural resource conservation, gender empowerment, and youth employment at different stakes etc. It also includes the concerns of equity, equality, escalation of production and productivity in realizing good quality of rural life which will in turn determine the quality of life in the urban areas.
